Project Garden

Project Garden provides families with access to locally grown, free produce.
Our students learn how to grow and care for a garden. After our plants are done growing, they share in the harvest. Each summer about 15 students take ownership of the garden. As they serve in the garden, our students learn the importance of working hard and praising the Lord for His provisions. They take pride in their watermelons, corn, tomatoes, and beans.
The joy of the summer is found in the garden...planting, weeding, harvesting, eating, and laughing.

"Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus."

As our students serve in garden, they get to know our volunteers- volunteers who speak hope and truth into their lives. They look forward to working alonside and playing with our garden volunteers.
